A Moment to Play: what we learned at our first community session

On July 9, we celebrated the first edition of our community series: A moment to play, a space designed to activate ideas, share learnings, and connect with professionals who lead change through innovation, design, and technology.

Why did we create this space?

Because we believe that great changes begin in community, with brave conversations, real examples, and questions that invite us to act. And that's exactly what we achieved in this first session.

What did we discover in this edition?

During 90 minutes, we explored the key challenges that organizations face today, how to address them with a strategic and creative mindset, and why design can no longer be an accessory, but a central tool for transformation.

1. The user has changed (and your processes must too)

  • More demanding: 71% expect personalized experiences.
  • Less patient: 76% get frustrated if they don't receive them.
  • More digital: They seek fluidity, autonomy, and clarity at every touchpoint.

👉 Organizations that don't actively listen to their users simply cease to be relevant.

2. Innovation is not optional

  • Technologies like AI and automation are redefining the way we design products, services, and experiences.
  • Companies like Lenovo, H&M, and Amazon integrate AI to make better decisions, personalize journeys, and optimize resources.

👉 But technology is only useful if it serves a clear, people-centered vision.

3. Design culture is a competitive differentiator

  • It's not just about making beautiful interfaces. It's about creating real solutions for real problems, with empathy, data, and a business vision.
  • We talked about how mature design impacts key indicators: conversion, satisfaction, retention, operational efficiency, etc.

4. The organizations that lead...

  • Adopt a culture of testing and learning.
  • They design scalable and modular processes, not rigid solutions.
  • They integrate design from the strategy stage, not as a final decorative phase.

Cases and tools we saw

During the session, we analyzed key trends with applied examples:

  • Staff augmentation: How to scale capabilities without losing agility.
  • Experience design: Why it's the new heart of growth.
  • Artificial intelligence: Beyond the hype, applied to solve real frictions.

Additionally, we shared practical tools for:

  • Conducting UX maturity self-assessments.
  • Prioritizing transformation actions based on your organization's status.
  • Identifying innovation opportunities from the user journey.
